Pretty glass bottles shinning in my store,
as I sit in my chair I cannot help but peek over my desk a little more.
I see them reflecting colours of flashing objects,
that draw the people to the windows.
I notice when the car lights suddenly bounce off the transparent glass,
as they zoom past to make the slow moving traffic before they are cut off in this silly – stop and go.
Oh glass bottles, what use can we make of you?
Can you hold something dear? Can I write a love letter and know you will keep its contents safe with my secrets, as I toss you into the big blue sea.
Can I fill you up so that you may promise me that you will quench any thirst I am in need of surrendering too.
